About The Position

At Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara, Pool Servers arrange seating areas, take and serve food and beverage orders, and maintain knowledge of current menu options and beverage lists. They efficiently clear and restock items to provide owners and guests with a seamless, memorable experience. The role involves opening and closing procedures, maintaining pool-deck equipment and supplies, assisting guests, communicating orders to the kitchen through the point-of-sales system, and responding appropriately to emergencies and safety situations.

Requirements

Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
San Diego County Food Handlers card; not required upon hire.
Responsible Beverage Service certification.
Valid California Driver's License, as driving a company vehicle is an essential function of the role.

Previous food and beverage experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct all opening and closing procedures.
Wipe down, set up, and move pool-deck equipment when necessary.
Pick up, stock or restock, and deliver towels, juices, fruit, and other items or amenities needed in the area.
Assist owners and guests with seating, towels, amenities, and food and beverage service.
Describe menu items to guests, including their origin, taste, and preparation methods.
Communicate guest orders and special requests to the kitchen using the point-of-sales system.
Coordinate food timings, check completed kitchen orders against the original order, and deliver items promptly to maintain food quality.
Respond properly to Residence Club emergencies or safety situations.
Perform other tasks or projects assigned by Residence Club management and staff.
