About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pool Mechanical Assistant to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined individual with solid plumbing knowledge and hands-on construction experience who is looking to grow in the pool restoration and mechanical services industry.

Requirements

  • Plumbing knowledge/experience is required
  • Canadian citizen or valid work visa with SIN
  • Physically fit and able to perform demanding, hands-on work
  • Prior mechanical, construction, or pool-related experience required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and technically inclined
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid G-Class driver’s license, clean driving abstract, and 25+ years old (insurance requirement)
  • Dependable, bondable, and committed to workplace safety

Responsibilities

  • Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of pool mechanical systems
  • Apply trade skills including plumbing (required), epoxy coatings, masonry, concrete work, tile repair, soldering, and demolition
  • Operate construction tools, industrial equipment, and pool automation systems
  • Support pool water chemistry testing and basic maintenance tasks
  • Assist project leaders with execution of restoration and mechanical projects
  • Transport tools, chemicals, and equipment between job sites
  • Support seasonal pool opening and closing operations across the GTA
