Requirements

  • Previous experience (1–2 years preferred) in guest entertainment, activities, recreation, or family-oriented events in a resort, hotel, cruise, theme park, camp, or similar setting.
  • Outgoing personality with exceptional interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills; approachable, positive, and professional demeanor.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm, creativity, energy, and comfort performing in front of groups or on-stage.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
  • Basic understanding of guest service, activity safety, and hospitality standards.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Fluent in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English (primary workplace language).
  • An audition or practical demonstration may be required to assess energy, performance skills, and on-stage fit.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with guests through friendly interactions, high-energy participation, and seeking out opportunities to connect and entertain families and individuals.
  • Lead or assist in delivering a variety of adult and family activities, including pool games, trivia, sports challenges, beach games, movie nights, crafts, cooking demonstrations, and other scheduled events.
  • Serve as emcee or co-host for activities: make announcements, explain rules, encourage participation, and keep energy high using a microphone.
  • Perform scripted material, simple choreography, routines, and games with enthusiasm, professionalism, and boundless energy.
  • Assist with event setup, breakdown, and preparation for poolside, beach, and other outdoor activities (e.g., moving light equipment, arranging supplies).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members (e.g., bartenders, Beach Ambassadors, pool operators, concierge, Kids Club, Red Sail Sports) to support smooth activity delivery and resort initiatives.
  • Respond courteously to guest questions, inquiries, or minor concerns related to activities; promote positive experiences and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain a neat, professional appearance and uphold safety standards during all activities.
  • Participate in briefings, rehearsals, and training to learn new programs, routines, and resort updates.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned at the time.
