About The Position

The Beach Club Server creates a personal connection with guests enjoying the beach and provides courteous, attentive service to achieve a high level of guest satisfaction. The role includes welcoming guests, taking and delivering food and beverage orders, helping guests with beach amenities and seating, and maintaining a clean and safe beach area. Servers collaborate with kitchen staff and bartenders, handle payments, respond to guest requests, and promote beach club events and activities. This is an on-call, casual position.

Requirements

• TB clearance and Food Handlers Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere at the beach club.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
• Recommend food and beverage pairings.
• Provide and set up beach amenities, including towels, umbrellas, and lounge chairs.
• Assist guests in finding preferred seating locations on the beach or in the club area.
• Deliver special amenities or surprise treats to create memorable guest experiences.
• Maintain a clean and organized beach area, including proper disposal of trash and used items.
• Monitor guest safety and report concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure timely, quality service.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues or complaints.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve service quality.
• Promote beach club events and activities to increase guest participation and satisfaction.
