Verdana Village, located in Estero, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Seasonal Part-Time Pool Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. The Pool Attendant is responsible for promoting water safety among guests using the pool. Maintain the pool, spa, and pool deck.

Requirements

• The ability to swim is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in a related position is helpful.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• The ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Must convey a positive and “can-do” attitude at all times, including during high-stressful situations.
• Must be able communicate effectively with other team members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and Greeting residents.
• Approach all encounters with members, guests, and team members in an attentive, friendly, courteous manner.
• Asks members for a membership card to ensure non-members are not using the pool – when applicable.
• Set up umbrellas and the cabanas; neatly arrange all pool furniture.
• Ensure residents are complying with Association Rules and Regulations.
• Report any malfunction immediately to Supervisor.
• Ensures the area is clean of trash and debris.
• Empties trash containers on the pool deck throughout the day, as needed. The trash containers should be emptied and the umbrellas lowered before leaving at the end of each shift.
