About The Position
This is a 13-week contract position for a Polysomnographic Technologist specializing in sleep studies. The schedule is Monday-Wednesday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty and the ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve). Local candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the specialty
- AHA BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of sleep disorders, sleep activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respiratory patterns
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays — Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day — AND 1 minor holiday — Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.

- Current, unrestricted RPSGT certification/registration preferred or required per facility guidelines
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for sleep studies
