About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for a night shift contract role. This position involves conducting comprehensive sleep studies, monitoring patients overnight, and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a clinical sleep lab environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• RPSGT Certification
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2+ years of sleep study experience
• Strong knowledge of sleep disorders and diagnostics
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities

• Perform overnight polysomnographic (sleep) studies
• Review physician orders, patient history, and study protocols
• Interview patients regarding sleep habits, medications, and lifestyle
• Monitor, document, and evaluate patient responses during studies
• Conduct complex diagnostic sleep procedures
• Identify and respond to sleep disorders and irregularities
• Ensure accurate data collection and reporting
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Maintain and troubleshoot sleep lab equipment
• Adhere to clinical standards and organizational policies
• Provide compassionate, patient-focused care
• Support team operations and mentor junior staff as needed
• Maintain certifications and competencies
• Participate in ongoing training and education
