About The Position

The Staff Pad is partnering with a respected hospital in Helena, MT to find a Polysomnographic Technician – Sleep Lab. This role is for individuals passionate about healthcare, who enjoy working independently overnight, and want to grow their skills in sleep medicine and respiratory support. You will join a collaborative, patient-centered Sleep Lab team where your expertise directly improves lives and makes a meaningful impact every shift. As a Polysomnographic Technician, you’ll work alongside physicians and clinical specialists to deliver high-quality sleep diagnostics and overnight care for patients experiencing sleep-related disorders.

Requirements

CPR certification required
RPSGT credential required, or candidates must be actively enrolled in or have successfully completed one of the following approved pathways: A-STEP Online Self-Study Modules, CAAHEP-accredited Sleep Technology program, Electro neurodiagnostic (END) Program, or Respiratory Therapy add-on track for Sleep Technology.

Nice To Haves

1–3 years of sleep lab and/or respiratory therapy or a related field clinical experience preferred
Training or experience in sleep laboratory technology, respiratory therapy, or a related healthcare discipline
ACLS preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct overnight polysomnographic (sleep) studies with precision and attention to detail
Monitor and collect high-quality, artifact-free diagnostic data
Analyze sleep study results to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
Adjust and manage respiratory support devices for patients with suspected sleep-related breathing disorders
Provide compassionate patient care and education throughout overnight testing
Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to ensure exceptional outcomes
Perform EEGs in conjunction with sleep studies when needed
