Requirements

  • Upon hire: National Certified Polysomnographic Technician - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists OR Upon hire: National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Complete a minimum of 18 months of clinical experience where the duties performed are primarily polysomnography, OR Complete a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience where the duties performed are primarily polysomnography, and the applicant holds a credential in an allied health field accepted by the BRPT (e.g., nursing, respiratory care, electro neuro diagnostics). Applicants MUST submit a copy of a certificate or official correspondence from the credentialing agency with their application.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework/Training and Successful completion of an accredited course in polysomnographic testing.
  • Associate's Degree OR Continued education involving the basic sciences and 1 year experience in hospital setting or an allied health field.
