About The Position
This position is for a Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech in the Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics department. The role involves working night shifts, specifically Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights from 18:30 to 07:00. While shifts extend into Saturday morning, the caregiver would not need to work Saturday or Sunday nights. This is a non-billable orientation (NBO) position with 0 hours, as opposed to a standard 40-hour orientation. The facility is a Short Term Acute Care hospital with 108 total staff beds.
Requirements
- Must have OR license in hand.
- Must be available for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday night shifts (18:30-07:00).
- Must be able to work block schedules.
- Must be able to work weekends (Friday night shift extends into Saturday morning).
Nice To Haves
- Experience with non-billable orientation (NBO) vs. standard 40 NBO.
Responsibilities
- Perform polysomnography (sleep studies).
- Monitor patient sleep patterns.
- Operate and maintain sleep diagnostic equipment.
- Adhere to block schedules.
- Work Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights (18:30-07:00).
