About The Position

Amwins Special Risk Underwriters, Amwins Group's in-house Managing General Agent, is hiring a Policy Services Specialist for its Charlotte, North Carolina office. The role supports Property Underwriters as part of a team and is responsible for policy issuance. Policy Services Specialists contribute to the firm's success by providing service and administrative support in a team-driven environment, with opportunities to grow and advance knowledge.

Requirements

Excellent computer skills, including typing proficiency.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel spreadsheets.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level of motivation.
Ability to prioritize important and pressing tasks.
Organizational skills, willingness to take on challenges, and focus on personal responsibility.

Nice To Haves

Insurance experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Enter data into multiple internet-based systems.
Use Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Answer incoming calls.
Request missing information from outside sources and follow through on those requests.
Manage multiple tasks and learn new products.
