Police Validation Manager
About The Position
The primary purpose of this position is to supervise employees tasked with the preparation and processing of entries into the Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC). This includes validating and verifying GCIC entries, coordinating communications for the removal and cancellation of GCIC entries, running criminal and driver histories, and performing administrative and clerical functions related to warrants and other GCIC/Police Validation functions. This role ensures the City of Atlanta remains in compliance with the Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC) and the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) rules and regulations.
Requirements
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience with Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC).
- Experience with National Crime Information Center (NCIC).
- Ability to validate and verify GCIC entries.
- Ability to coordinate communications for removal and cancellation of GCIC entries.
- Ability to run criminal and driver histories.
- Proficiency in administrative and clerical functions related to warrants.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a Police Validations Manager.
- Familiarity with Atlanta Police Department procedures.
