About The Position

The Poker Supervisor leads the poker team to create continuous improvement in the employee experience and service for guests. This role is responsible for overseeing game protection, integrity, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and Ohio Casino Control Commission regulations.

High school diploma or GED is required.
Excellent employee and customer service skills are essential.
Knowledge of casino rules, procedures, and regulations related to Poker.
Ability to obtain a Gaming Occupational License within the State of Ohio.

Responsibilities

Leads and supports the Poker team to create legendary customer service.
Ensures Poker staff has the training, tools, and mindset to enable them in their positions as service professionals.
Leads the Poker team in a way that creates continuous improvements in the employee experience.
Ensures operational and game integrity.
Settles disputes in a professional and timely manner.
Handles guest and employee concerns quickly and efficiently.
Informs Poker Manager and Surveillance team of irregularities.
Verifies issuance of credit after all necessary signatures are confirmed.
Informs Poker Manager of disputes on game.
Ensures that required facilities and equipment are available and functioning properly.
Guides and instructs assigned personnel in the proper performance of their duties.
Reviews and evaluates personnel.
Initiates fills and credits to a game as necessary.
Records table inventory when the table opens and after it closes.
Other duties as assigned.
Knows and abides by Ohio CCC regulations, internal controls, and company policies and procedures.
Always presents oneself as a credit to Hard Rock Casino and encourages others to do the same.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
