About The Position

Leads and supports the Poker team to create legendary customer service, ensuring staff have the necessary training, tools, and mindset to excel as service professionals. This role focuses on continuous improvement in employee experience, maintaining operational and game integrity, and professionally handling disputes and guest/employee concerns. The supervisor will inform management and surveillance of irregularities, verify credit issuance, and ensure facilities and equipment are functional. They will guide and evaluate personnel, initiate fills and credits, and record table inventory. Adherence to Maryland Gaming and Lottery Control Agency regulations, internal controls, and company policies is mandatory, along with maintaining a professional image and meeting attendance guidelines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in poker, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Excellent employee and customer service skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of casino rules, procedures and regulations as related to Poker.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Must enjoy entertaining and communicating with the public.
  • Excellent math skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Must have a professional appearance and be team player.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling conflicts.
  • Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and, have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel.
  • Respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives.
  • Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

  • Informs Poker Manager and Surveillance team of irregularities.
  • Verifies issuance of credit after all necessary signatures are confirmed.
  • Informs Poker Manager of disputes on game.
  • Ensures that required facilities and equipment are available and functioning properly.
  • Guides and instructs assigned personnel in the proper performance of their duties.
  • Reviews and evaluates personnel.
  • Initiates fills and credits to a game as necessary.
  • Records table inventory when the table opens and after it closes.
  • Knows and abides by and Maryland Gaming and Lottery Control Agency regulations, internal controls and company policies and procedures.
  • Always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
