Poker Room Host - Mandalay Bay
About The Position
As an On Call Poker Room Host, you’ll play a key role in creating an exciting and welcoming environment on the poker floor by delivering exceptional guest service at every table and ensuring a memorable experience for every guest. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the player waitlist, assisting with seating, starting and monitoring games, and supporting the overall flow of operations while clearly explaining game rules, answering guest questions, and maintaining a friendly, engaging presence. You’ll also build strong guest relationships by promoting awareness and participation in the MGM Rewards program, helping drive engagement while enhancing each guest’s overall experience.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming and engaging experience by greeting and seating guests, opening games as directed by the supervisor, and answering questions or explaining rules as needed
- Develop customer relations, facilitate usage of the MGM rewards card and evaluate play for complimentary purposes
- Get players checks and maintain poker table banks to ensure efficient operation
- Responsible for tracking players by using computer tracking system
