About The Position
This role requires an individual to perform as both a Poker Dealer and a Supervisor within the Poker Room. The position involves dealing poker, supervising other dealers, and ensuring adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulations. Excellent customer service and leadership skills are essential. The work environment is typically loud and may include exposure to smoke. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
Requirements
- Experience or graduation from a certified dealing school
- Ability to comprehend policies and procedures and carry them out
- Good, sound knowledge of table procedures
- Excellent customer service knowledge of general information and comps (e.g., dinners, concerts, and entertainment)
- Knowledge of all procedures including fills, credits, bank rolls, marker play and irregularities
- Thorough knowledge of Internal Controls, Title 31, and Louisiana Gaming Regulations
- Excellent leadership skills to supervise poker dealers
- Ability to work in a smoking environment
