About The Position

This role is for a Poker Dealer at Running Aces Casino Hotel Racetrack. The position is part-time and requires working weekends and holidays. The job involves handling collection and jackpot drops, using the Bravo system, communicating with floor staff, and maintaining a friendly atmosphere for customers. Training classes are scheduled from May 18th to June 4th, Monday-Thursday, 8 am-4 pm. Despite the initial mention of 'Non- Experienced' in the job posting, the job requirements explicitly state 'Must have prior poker dealing experience.'

Responsibilities

  • Take proper collection drops and jackpot drops.
  • Notify board-person or Floor person of vacant seats by using Bravo system.
  • Call Floor person for any problems or decisions and be able to properly explain all details of the situation.
  • Inform Floor person of short game before it breaks.
  • When needed, must be willing to 'run chips', 'set-ups', help with the 'board', etc.
  • Understand and follow Table games Policies and Procedures.
  • When being relieved from each game, communicate all pertinent information about the game to oncoming Dealer.
  • Cooperate with Shift Manager/Floor person/Tournament Director.
  • Receive constructive criticism and counseling in a positive, professional manner.
  • Provide a friendly, congenial, harmonious atmosphere for customers and fellow Employees.
  • Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and casino policies and procedures.
  • Attend all meetings and training as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
