About The Position

This role is for a Poker Dealer at Running Aces Casino Hotel Racetrack. The position is part-time and requires working weekends and holidays. The job involves handling collection and jackpot drops, using the Bravo system, communicating with floor staff, and maintaining a friendly atmosphere for customers. Training classes are scheduled from May 18th to June 4th, Monday-Thursday, 8 am-4 pm. Despite the initial mention of 'Non- Experienced' in the job posting, the job requirements explicitly state 'Must have prior poker dealing experience.'

Responsibilities

Take proper collection drops and jackpot drops.
Notify board-person or Floor person of vacant seats by using Bravo system.
Call Floor person for any problems or decisions and be able to properly explain all details of the situation.
Inform Floor person of short game before it breaks.
When needed, must be willing to 'run chips', 'set-ups', help with the 'board', etc.
Understand and follow Table games Policies and Procedures.
When being relieved from each game, communicate all pertinent information about the game to oncoming Dealer.
Cooperate with Shift Manager/Floor person/Tournament Director.
Receive constructive criticism and counseling in a positive, professional manner.
Provide a friendly, congenial, harmonious atmosphere for customers and fellow Employees.
Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and casino policies and procedures.
Attend all meetings and training as required.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
