About The Position

The Casino @ Dania Beach is seeking a Poker Dealer to join its team. This role is central to providing fun and spectacular customer service, offering an opportunity to be part of an exciting casino environment and to grow with the company. The position emphasizes creating a high-quality gaming experience for guests.

Requirements

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, have finger and manual dexterity, have hand-eye coordination, ability to grasp, reach, bend, lift up to 10 lbs and perform repetitive motions.
Strong knowledge of poker rules.
Ability to Explain and operate Poker game play and tournament play.
Proven customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
Must apply and obtain the appropriate state occupational gaming license, which includes lifetime FBI criminal background check.
Must pass drug testing as per company's Drug Free Workplace Policy and applicable background checks.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or GED preferred
Poker School Certification preferred.
2+ years of poker dealing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Deals various Poker games in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Opens and closes assigned Poker tables.
Monitors and maintains card control, chip control, and other elements of Poker gaming integrity.
Hosts guests and ensures high quality games and service levels.
Responds to complaints, mediates disputes, and provides professional and positive guest interactions.
Answers questions about game rules and casino policies.
May be required to assist in brush and/or chip runner duties.
All other duties as assigned.
