The Poker Cashier is assigned to a Poker Bank during a shift and performs transactions for players and employees of the Poker Room. As necessary, may need to perform duties of a Poker dealer. This role requires adherence to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations, including Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting, and Customer Identification requirements. The position involves selling and redeeming chips, exchanging chips and/or cash for dealers, and ensuring accurate transactions. A key aspect of this role is providing quality customer service in a friendly and courteous manner, assisting with player seating, maintaining the sign-up board, and keeping the work area neat and clean. The Poker Cashier also assists in managing the poker card inventory and provides excellent guest service to both guests and internal clients, while complying with all applicable internal controls, standard operating procedures, and tribal regulations. As a Poker Dealer, responsibilities include maintaining friendly relationships with customers, exchanging cash for playing chips, ensuring blinds or antes are placed before cards are dealt, dealing cards according to casino procedures, and possessing a good working knowledge of Poker games. The dealer must maintain the integrity of Table Games activity, ensure table security at all times, and keep the table clean and neat, while also providing excellent guest service and complying with all regulations.
