About The Position

This role is for a Senior Cashier and Hourly Lead working in the Service Center, responsible for customer relations at the service window and store office, and accounting procedures. The primary duties include direct supervision of the store's Cash Office, Cashiers, Baggers, CLAG, Pick-Up Lane, and parking lot activity. This includes customer relations, interviewing potential applicants, scheduling for baggers and cashiers, evaluations of subordinate employees, check management, cash management, cash drawer security, store banking, office balance, store accounting, Ohio Direct Transactions, and bank card transactions. The role is responsible for front end operations including weekly ads, advantage sale programs and bonus buys, as well as general housekeeping. The ideal candidate must be organized, able to prioritize, and follow through with assigned tasks. Support for training programs will be provided. The position requires willingness to open and close the store as needed. Secondary duties include assuming related activities as required or assigned, including direct customer services provided in or by the Service Center.

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership ability
• 2 - 3 years experience in Service Center, Cashier, and Cash office
• Background in phones and computers required
• Must be organized
