The Point of Sale Team Lead is a senior cashier and hourly lead position responsible for customer relations at the service window and store office, as well as accounting procedures. This role involves direct supervision of the store's Cash Office, Cashiers, Baggers, CLAG, Pick-Up Lane, and parking lot activity. Key responsibilities include customer relations, interviewing potential applicants, scheduling for baggers and cashiers, employee evaluations, check management, cash management, cash drawer security, store banking, office balance, store accounting, Ohio Direct Transactions, and bank card transactions. The Team Lead is also responsible for front-end operations, including weekly ads, advantage sale programs, and bonus buys, as well as general housekeeping. The position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and follow through on assigned tasks. Support for training programs is also a part of this role. The individual must be willing to open and close the store as needed. Secondary duties include related activities as required or assigned, such as direct customer services provided in or by the Service Center.
