About The Position

Corewell Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their inpatient podiatry team. This role will focus primarily on inpatient podiatry care, including limb salvage, wound care, diabetic foot care, inpatient rounding, new consults, and post-surgical follow-up. The APP will work closely with inpatient-focused podiatrists, vascular surgery, and the wound clinic to support coordinated, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner: Required Master's Degree
• Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission
• 3 years of relevant experience
• current, relevant clinical experience
• Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner
• LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
• CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)
• Physician Assistant: Required Master's Degree
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program
• LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan
• CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
• CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)
• CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Nice To Haves

• 2 Years PA/NP experience
• Operative experience preferred
• RNFA preferred

Responsibilities

• Primarily inpatient-focused podiatry APP role with daily rounding responsibilities.
• Meaningful involvement in limb salvage, wound care, and diabetic foot care.
• Collaborative work with two inpatient podiatrists, vascular surgery, and the wound clinic.
