About The Position

This position involves operating basic hand tools and performing detailed cleaning of parts using solvents, brushes, and scrapers. The associate will verify the BOM tag matches the unit, then proceed with disassembly by removing external components like bolts and seals. The process continues with the removal of the oil pan, internal parts, valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, and clutch packs. Finally, parts are cleaned using solvent, placed in baskets, and sent through a washer.

Requirements

Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx. 8-10 hours).
Ability to use handheld tools such as Impacts, Pneumatic Drills, Hammers etc.

Responsibilities

Verify the tag of the BOM matches the unit (core) provided.
Remove bolts, seals, etc. from the outside of the unit.
Remove the oil pan of the unit, uncovering the internal parts.
Remove the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, clutch packs, etc.
Clean parts using solvent.
Place parts in baskets and send through a washer.
