About The Position

This position involves a variety of tasks, including the operation of basic hand tools and the detailed cleaning of parts using solvents, brushes, and scrapers. The associate will verify the tag of the Bill of Materials (BOM) matches the unit provided. Following this, the associate will begin the disassembly process by removing external components such as bolts and seals. The next steps include removing the oil pan to expose internal parts, followed by the removal of the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, and clutch packs. Finally, associates will clean parts using solvent, place them in baskets, and send them through a washer.

Requirements

Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx. 8-10 hours).
Ability to use handheld tools such as Impacts, Pneumatic Drills, Hammers etc.
Standing: Continuously
Walking: Occasionally
Sitting: Never
Stooping (forward leaning): Occasionally.
Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally.

Responsibilities

Verify the tag of the BOM matches the unit (core) provided.
Remove bolts, seals, etc. from the outside of the unit.
Remove the oil pan of the unit, uncovering the internal parts.
Remove the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, clutch packs, etc.
Clean parts using solvent.
Place parts in baskets and send through a washer.
