About The Position

This position involves a variety of tasks, including the operation of basic hand tools and the detailed cleaning of parts using solvents, brushes, and scrapers. The associate will verify the tag of the Bill of Materials (BOM) matches the unit provided. The disassembly process begins by removing external components such as bolts and seals. Following this, the oil pan is removed to expose the internal parts. Subsequently, components like the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, and clutch packs are removed. The final steps involve cleaning parts with solvent, placing them in baskets, and sending them through a washer.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (approximately 8-10 hours).
  • Ability to use handheld tools such as Impacts, Pneumatic Drills, Hammers etc.
  • Ability to stand continuously.
  • Ability to walk occasionally.
  • Ability to stoop (forward leaning) occasionally.
  • Ability to reach/work overhead occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Verify the tag of the BOM matches the unit (core) provided.
  • Remove bolts, seals, and other external components from the unit.
  • Remove the oil pan to access internal parts.
  • Remove internal components such as the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, and clutch packs.
  • Clean parts using solvent.
  • Place cleaned parts in baskets for washing.
  • Send parts through a washer.
