About The Position

Anchor Within Counseling is seeking a qualified, licensed Psychiatric Provider (Psychiatrist MD/DO or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - PMHNP) to partner with our clinical team under an independent contractor agreement. At Anchor Within Counseling, our mission is to attend to individuals, families, and the community with psychotherapy, behavior support, or consultation services rendered through a holistic approach, evidence-based practices, racially-informed care, and spiritually-informed care to stimulate healing. We serve clients in Portland, OR for in-person care, and virtually serve all of Oregon. Common clinical presentations include complex trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, neurodevelopmental needs, and co-occurring behavioral health conditions. This opportunity is designed for a psychiatric prescriber or group practice to deliver diagnostic evaluations and medication management to our client population with integrated documentation into our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted license to practice as an MD, DO, or PMHNP in the state of Oregon.
• Active DEA registration with full prescriptive authority in Oregon.
• Active Oregon Health Authority (OHA) Medicaid provider ID, or immediate eligibility for credentialing with OHA.
• Maintenance of professional liability insurance malpractice insurance with minimum coverage limits of $1M/$3M.
• Willingness to execute charting, prescribing, and CPT code billing selection directly in our company’s EHR.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and ongoing medication management for referred clients.
• Complete all clinical notes, treatment plans, prescriptions, and CPT billing codes directly within the company’s EHR system and within 72 hours of service delivery.
• Capture rendered services in accordance with state billing standards.
• Utilize care coordination as needed.
