About The Position

Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician to join their PM&R service in Lufkin, TX. This role offers a mix of hospital and office-based patient care within the only acute care rehab hospital in the area. Lufkin, TX is described as a lively, growing community with many amenities, offering a blend of small-town charm and big-hearted hospitality, with scenic trails, local eateries, thriving industries, and welcoming neighborhoods. The position is part of a partnership between St. Luke's Health System & Baylor College of Medicine, providing the benefits and resources of a large health system while recognizing individual contributions.

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Valid and unrestricted Texas medical license or ability to obtain prior to employment
• Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
• Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
• Experience with EMG/nerve conduction studies
• Experience with therapeutic botox injections
• Experience with medical acupuncture
• Epic EMR

Nice To Haves

• Pain management experience will be considered

Responsibilities

• Practice alongside an experienced PM&R physician in the only acute care rehab hospital in the area.
• See hospital patients.
• See patients in office.
