About The Position
Huey Magoo's is a chicken tender concept that only serves the "filet mignon" of chicken. We are rapidly growing in the state of Mississippi and are making it our mission to "Make Someone Smile Today". We want to provide an exceptional dining experience and a fun & rewarding work environment for our team members. Cooks will be expected to learn cook/production stations including prep, fry cook, grill cook, salad station, etc. We share the dishwashing role so everyone is expected to chip in. You will be given all the tools necessary to be able to adequately perform your job duties. Reports to the general manager and works together with them to: Be a team player that will communicate effectively with respect to your teammates, managers and guests. Prepare food to recipe specifications while maintaining a clean work space. Arrive to work on time, in proper uniforms with clear focus on the tasks required of the job. Requirements
- 16 or older
- Reliable transportation
- Restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Learn cook/production stations including prep, fry cook, grill cook, salad station, etc.
- Share dishwashing duties.
- Communicate effectively with teammates, managers, and guests.
- Prepare food to recipe specifications.
- Maintain a clean work space.
- Arrive to work on time, in proper uniforms with clear focus on the tasks required of the job.
