About The Position

Hinds Community College is seeking a qualified Plumbing Technology Instructor to join our team. This position is responsible for teaching and training students in the field of plumbing technology, preparing them for successful careers. The instructor will develop and deliver curriculum, assess student progress, and maintain a safe and effective learning environment.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Plumbing Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in plumbing.
• Journeyman or Master Plumber license.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, materials, and installation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively teach and mentor students.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Previous teaching or instructional experience.
• Experience with curriculum development.
• Certifications in specific plumbing areas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging instruction in plumbing technology courses.
• Create and implement lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
