About The Position

John the Plumber is a family-run operation that has been servicing the community for over 40 years. With a family culture at its core, they offer a fantastic work environment with unlimited earning potential. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Plumbing Technician to join their team. The technician will act as a liaison, provide product/service information, and resolve customer issues with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to assisting customers, patient, empathetic, and respectful at all times. A strong problem-solver, the technician must be confident in troubleshooting issues to resolve customer concerns.

Requirements

2-5 years of prior plumbing experience
Outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
Excellent organization, planning, and follow-through abilities
Takes great pride in going the extra mile for our customers
Strong customer service skills (active listening, relationship building, etc.)
Plumbing: 1 year (Required)
English (Required)
Driver's License (Required)

Responsibilities

Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, including fixtures, toilets, faucets, water heaters, and soldering.
Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, water quality, and code compliance in residential homes.
Handling customer queries, troubleshooting/resolving problems, responding to call-outs, and preparing cost estimates.
Sewer and drain clearing/cleaning.
Good communication and listening skills.
