About The Position

The Plumbing Service Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal. This role performs a variety of services ranging from faucet repairs to water heater installations and plumbing systems replacements for residential customers while maintaining the highest level of customer service.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to drive a company service truck safely at all times and to maintain a clean driving record
Strong analytical and problems solving skills
Ability to make sound business decisions
Excellent written, verbal communication, and listening skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to sell services to customers in an effective and satisfactory manner; assist the customer in choosing the best service option and products and strive to win referrals and repeat business
Ability to maintain a clean, organized job site
Ability to maintain a well-inventoried truck
Honesty and trustworthiness in dealing with customers
Demonstrate sound work ethic
Ability to work a varying schedule depending on the company’s needs; work off-shift with minimal notice if required, including holidays and weekends
Ability to participate in training sessions and company meetings
Accuracy and timely invoicing, timesheets other daily paperwork
Experience in the trades: HVAC, plumbing, electrical
Experience with Service Titan
Clean driving record

Nice To Haves

Previous plumbing experience (apprentice, journeyman, or equivalent)
Trade school or certification
Associates and college degrees

Responsibilities

Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance services in residential and/or commercial settings
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues with accuracy and efficiency
Install and repair piping systems, fixtures, water heaters, and related components
Operate and maintain company-provided tools, equipment, and service vehicle
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, local codes, and company procedures
Document work performed and communicate effectively with team members and customers
Other duties as assigned
