We have an exciting opportunity for a Plumbing Service Sales Representative located in Milwaukee, WI. How you will contribute: Leverage your persuasion and relationship management skills by developing and growing a customer base focused on plumbing service and small project opportunities. Apply your project management abilities by performing preliminary design for the estimates, preparing pricing for materials and equipment, and seeking out competitive vendors and services. You will spend your time meeting with customers establishing/maintaining relationships and generating sales; estimating plumbing projects; and setting up and closing out projects. Ahern offers the support of subject matter experts in the area of design and estimating for more challenging projects. You will have the ability to influence the financial performance of the Milwaukee region while assuming an active role in managing service and smaller construction projects in conjunction with Ahern’s field plumbing talent.

Requirements

  • Five-plus years' experience with plumbing-related projects.
  • Knowledge of codes.
  • Basic understanding of design.
  • Strong understanding of how to put together a disciplined estimate.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • A post-secondary degree in a related field is preferred.
