About The Position

At Horizon Commercial Pools, we renovate and restore commercial swimming pools and aquatic facilities — from hotels and community centers to waterparks and competition pools. This isn’t residential pool cleaning. This is large-scale mechanical systems, structural restoration, and specialized aquatic equipment. If you have experience in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical service, or construction — and you know your way around PVC glue and primer — we can teach you the aquatics side. You’re not doing the same service call 10 times a day. You work on large commercial systems with real complexity. You see tangible results — full facility transformations. You build specialized skills most tradespeople don’t have. You become part of a niche industry with long-term career stability.
Requirements
- Experience in plumbing, mechanical service, or construction
- Experience gluing/priming PVC piping
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment
- Comfort working outdoors and in commercial facilities
- Pride in quality workmanship
- The ability to travel overnights regionally
- Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities
- Glue and prime PVC piping
- Replace and repair pumps, motors, filters, and heaters
- Install chemical automation systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems
- Perform plumbing repairs and equipment change-outs
- Assist with plaster, tile, and concrete restoration
- Install underwater lighting and specialty aquatic features
- Support ADA and safety compliance upgrades
- Conduct leak detection and underwater repairs
