About The Position
This pre-apprenticeship training program is designed to prepare individuals for a career in the commercial plumbing trade. It is specifically for those seeking full-time employment and a long-term career in plumbing construction. Upon successful completion, participants will be eligible for a 6-week paid internship with a West Alabama Plumbing Contractor.
Requirements
- Age 18 - 32
- High school diploma or GED
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a drug screen & background check
- Valid driver's license & clean driving record
- Seeking full-time employment and a career in the Plumbing construction trade
Responsibilities
- Attend 18 weeks of training, Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
- Complete an aptitude assessment.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Participate in a 6-week paid internship upon successful completion of the course.
