About The Position

The Plumbing Field Manager will oversee front-line plumbing technicians to ensure efficient, safe, and quality plumbing services in assigned areas. The role requires coordinating operations, managing personnel, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, especially in field service operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, especially in managing technical teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
  • Thorough understanding of plumbing services, industry regulations, safety laws, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related project management software.
  • Associate degree in a related field, or equivalent industry work experience required
  • A minimum of three years of supervisory experience in the plumbing or home services industry is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing budgets and overseeing large-scale service operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Hires, trains, and mentors plumbing technicians and support staff.
  • Organizes, directs, and oversees work schedules and job assignments for plumbing teams.
  • Conducts performance evaluations and provides constructive feedback.
  • Handles employee discipline, terminations, and conflict resolution in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinates daily operations with other managers and departments to ensure service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Reviews and analyzes service performance data to assess quality, efficiency, and technician productivity.
  • Conducts regular inspections to evaluate service quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Addresses and resolves inefficiencies or issues in plumbing processes, materials, equipment, or skills.
  • Ensures all work is compliant with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and health standards.
  • Develops and implements strategies for maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.
  • Assists in budget planning, including cost management and resource allocation for plumbing projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
