About The Position

The Plumbing Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the plumbing department and team. They will ensure that jobs are completed on time with exceptional customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Must be familiar with technology including Microsoft365 suite of applications.
Ability to coach and mentor personnel, lead them in the right direction, and demonstrate the Signature way.
Comfortable presenting in front of groups and leading team meetings.
Strong ability to build and cultivate relationships with vendors.
Minimum 10 years experience in the field as a plumber.
Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory or management role.
Must be able to lift, lower, push, and pull objects of up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Must be able to continually stand, walk, climb, ascend/descend ladders, bend, stoop, crawl, and crouch, frequently in tight spaces, for extended periods of time, in indoor and outdoor conditions.
Must be able to continually use hands/fingers to handle, feel, utilize tools, and operate machinery.
Must be able to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid driver license and insurable driving history.
Must pass background screen, drug test, and motor vehicle records check.

Familiarity with Service Titan preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise team of field personnel including supervisors, plumbers, and apprentices.
Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to ensure high quality and performance.
Oversee the completion of projects from start to finish including man hours and profitability.
Monitor and manage tools and equipment to ensure that the right tools are available for the job.
Create and maintain thorough documentation where necessary including employment records, disciplinary records, and reports.
Ensure jobs are completed according to code.
Ensure job site safety including use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Implement and enforce all safety policies and protocols.
Provide ongoing training on new and developing issues, technology, solutions, process and procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, procedures, and strategies.
