This position is designed for individuals who want to learn the plumbing trade, gain hands-on experience, and potentially earn an opportunity to enter a state-recognized apprenticeship program. No plumbing experience is required. We are looking for hardworking, dependable people with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. As a Plumbing Laborer / Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced Journeyman and Master Plumbers on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This position begins as a Plumbing Laborer and includes a potential pathway into an accredited apprenticeship program through Associated Builders & Contractors of Wisconsin (ABC Wisconsin). Apprenticeship placement is not guaranteed and is earned through excellent attendance and punctuality, strong work performance, positive attitude, safe work practices, dependability and professionalism, ability and willingness to learn, available apprenticeship openings and business needs. Employees may be considered for apprenticeship sponsorship within a few months of hire or after several years, depending on readiness and performance. If selected for the ABC apprenticeship program, wages will progress according to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development Skilled Wage Rate Map (ABC Plumbing Apprentice Wage Scale) and apprenticeship program requirements.
