About The Position

Fox Valley Plumbing & Backflow is seeking a motivated, reliable, and hardworking Plumbing Apprentice to join our growing team. We specialize in commercial and residential plumbing, service repairs, installations, and backflow prevention. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows directions, and is interested in building a long-term career in the plumbing industry.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
Be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
Be willing and available to work overtime when required.
Have reliable transportation and demonstrate dependable attendance.
Have basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
Own and maintain a basic selection of personal hand tools.
Be able to listen, follow directions, and work effectively under supervision.
Be physically capable of performing plumbing-related duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and workplace expectations.

Nice To Haves

Previous plumbing or construction experience is preferred but not required.
Candidates must be willing to learn, accept constructive feedback, and demonstrate consistent reliability.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed plumbers with commercial and residential plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Assist with backflow prevention installations and service.
Learn proper plumbing techniques, troubleshooting, and industry standards.
Maintain clean and organized work areas, company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
Follow instructions from supervising plumbers and management.
Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous customer service.
