About The Position

The Plumbing Installer is responsible for routing various types of pipes and water lines to the sewer systems of new residential and multi-family homes. The ideal candidate will handle tasks such as strapping pipes, nail plating, running condensation lines, gluing pipe, and installing PEX lines.

Requirements

Own basic plumbing tools and battery-operated tools.
Transport issued tools, including ladders, from job site to job site.
Knowledge of local codes for installation is a plus.
Self-motivated and organized with a positive attitude.
Desire to learn and master plumbing installation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Committed to a positive workplace culture.
Provide excellent customer service and communication.
Willingness to work outdoors and with hands.
Arrive on time and ready to work.
Follow safety procedures diligently.

4-5 years of plumbing production install experience (for promotion).
Organizational and leadership skills (for promotion).
Strong communication skills for interaction with superintendents (for promotion).

Nice To Haves

Prior construction or plumbing experience.
PEX Certification.

Responsibilities

Route various types of pipes and water lines to the sewer systems of new residential and multi-family homes.
Strap pipes.
Perform nail plating.
Run condensation lines.
Glue pipe.
Install PEX lines.
Install Cast Iron Waste Lines (using bands and snap cutters).
Install ABS Drain Lines (using pipe cutters and glue).
Install Copper water lines (measure, cut, clean, flux, and solder).
Install CPVC water lines (measure, ream, glue).
Install Black iron gas lines (layout, measure, install).
Install PEX water lines (cut pipe, use fitting expander).
Operate threading machines, drills, and Sawzalls.
Lift and carry materials over 80 lbs.
Apply Lean Principles including 5S.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and management.
Self-leadership to meet personal and company goals.
Assist and guide team members.
Engage in career development using the Skills Matrix and Dozuki Standard Work App.
