Housekeeper - RNC - Full Time
About The Position
Under general supervision, the Housekeeper cleans assigned areas within a MVHS facility according to schedule. This role involves maintaining cleanliness in various areas such as lobbies, common areas, rooms, offices, and restrooms, ensuring adequate supplies are available, and assisting with furniture and lighting maintenance. The Housekeeper is also responsible for trash removal, reporting unsafe conditions, cost-effective use of supplies, and assisting with special cleaning projects and meeting setups. Additionally, the role requires good customer service skills and may involve snow and ice removal.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Cleans assigned areas throughout the facility such as lobby and common areas, rooms, offices, rest room areas and their contents/fixtures according to policy.
- Maintains an adequate amount of supplies in designated areas (e.g., paper towels, soap, cleaning items, etc.)
- Assists in moving furniture and maintaining lighting in designated areas.
- Manages trash removal to the designated collection site.
- Notifies supervisor of unsafe or inappropriate conditions or equipment.
- Uses supplies in a cost effective manner.
- Assists with special or non-routine cleaning as assigned or scheduled (i.e., annual summer housecleaning).
- Assists other housekeepers with special projects such as meeting set ups and dismantles as requested.
- Uses good customer service skills and builds rapport with coworkers, supervisors, and the public.
- Accepts responsibility for snow and ice removal around the building when necessary.
