About The Position

This role involves installing heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment, along with other products, in accordance with company and manufacturer specifications. The installer will test systems to ensure proper functioning, identify and repair issues, and complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time. Responsibilities also include fabricating and installing ductwork, performing start-ups on air conditioning systems, and adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Duties may vary by location.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (experience may be substituted for education).
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the HVAC trade.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Beginner computing skills and ability to use a computer, laptop, or tablet.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work overtime with little notice.
• Weekend hours may occasionally be required.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC trade school certification.
• Prior HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Install heating, air conditioning, ventilation equipment, and other products according to company requirements and manufacturer specifications.
• Test systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Identify issues and perform required repairs to ensure all relevant components are working correctly and in compliance.
• Complete all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner.
• Perform start-up on air conditioning systems as needed.
• Fabricate and install various ducts and duct fittings as required.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
