This role has a clear path to Install Manager as we continue to grow across the region. The Install Supervisor is responsible for leading and supporting the installation team to ensure high-quality workmanship, efficiency, and an outstanding customer experience. This role oversees day-to-day field operations, coaches and develops technicians, and ensures jobs are completed safely, on time, and to our company standards. In addition to field leadership, this role plays a key part in booking installs, pulling permits, scheduling inspections, conducting QA calls, and collecting payments. You will partner closely with the Install Coordinator and leadership team to drive productivity and support a seamless operation from start to finish.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in plumbing or home services, with installation experience required
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred — strong lead technicians ready to take the next step are encouraged to apply
  • Experience with permitting processes and scheduling inspections strongly preferred
  • Solid knowledge of plumbing systems, installation practices, and troubleshooting
  • Strong communication and coaching skills
  • Ability to balance team leadership, field operations, and administrative responsibilities
  • Comfortable using technology such as dispatch systems, CRM platforms, and mobile tools

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed plumber in the state of Washington
  • Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service platforms
  • Background in a performance-driven residential or commercial service environment

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support plumbing installation technicians in the field
  • Provide on-the-job coaching, training, and constructive performance feedback
  • Conduct ride-alongs, job site visits, and quality inspections
  • Ensure adherence to company standards, safety protocols, and local codes
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and developing installation team members
  • Book and schedule installation appointments to ensure efficient workflow and technician utilization
  • Pull required permits for installations in accordance with local codes and regulations
  • Schedule and coordinate inspections with the appropriate jurisdictions
  • Ensure all permitting and inspection requirements are completed accurately and on time
  • Oversee daily install schedules and adjust resources as needed to meet demand
  • Ensure jobs are properly set up with the correct materials, equipment, and scope
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during installations
  • Monitor job timelines and ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately
  • Conduct QA calls to verify job quality, customer satisfaction, and identify any follow-up needs
  • Ensure all installations meet our quality standards and customer expectations
  • Step in to resolve escalated customer concerns or complex job issues
  • Promote a customer-first mindset across the install team
  • Verify job completion, accuracy, and overall customer satisfaction
  • Collect and process payments upon job completion
  • Ensure payment collection is accurate and documented in accordance with company procedures
  • Communicate any payment discrepancies or issues to the appropriate team members promptly
  • Help technicians clearly communicate options and solutions so customers can make informed decisions
  • Reinforce honest, customer-first best practices in the field
  • Assist with larger or more complex installation opportunities when needed
  • Help the team deliver full value on every job through quality and thoroughness
  • Track and report on key metrics including job completion rates, callbacks, and quality scores
  • Identify trends and areas for improvement in team performance
  • Partner with leadership on forecasting, capacity planning, and operational goals
