About The Position

As a Plumbing Install Assistant Manager, you will lead specialty jobs including outdoor dig crews, pipelining, and construction crews, ensuring all plumbing installation jobs meet high standards. You will plan and run weekly meetings, covering technical and soft skills, safety topics, and motivating the team. You will also handle customer concerns to protect the brand and ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will be involved in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and developing technicians to ensure their success and performance.

Requirements

Valid North Carolina Plumbing Contractor License (NC P1 or P2)
3+ years of residential Plumbing experience with diagnostic troubleshooting, repair & drain cleaning service, and installation
Exceptional customer service skills
Proven leadership ability
Keen ability to work accurately, efficiently, and manage multiple tasks with good work ethic
Committed adherence and enforcement of the company’s core values and core purpose
Intermediate computer skills
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Ability to fluently speak, read, and write in the English language

Nice To Haves

Valid South Carolina Plumbing Contractor License
Prior supervisory or management experience
Additional Plumbing experience

Responsibilities

Lead specialty jobs (outdoor dig crews, pipelining, and construction crew).
Ensure all plumbing installation jobs keep to a standard we can all be proud of.
Plan and run weekly meetings, including training on technical and soft skills, and motivating the team.
Share safety topics and plumbing techniques during weekly meetings.
Handle customer concerns and protect our brand.
Work with customers to make sure everything’s taken care of when mistakes happen.
Interview, hire, onboard, and make sure technicians are successful.
Teach and develop plumbers to turn talent into performance.
