About The Position

The Plumbing Foreman oversees all on-site plumbing activities for multi-family, commercial, and hospitality construction projects. This role ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, building codes, and company standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, proven field management experience, and the ability to coordinate teams, subcontractors, and schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Min. 5+ years of plumbing experience, with at least 2 years in a foreman or lead role.
  • Strong background in multi-family, commercial, and hospitality construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plumbing schematics.
  • Knowledge of local plumbing codes and inspection processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Graduate of Apprenticeship Program is required for Journeyman

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor plumbing crews on multi-family, commercial, and hospitality job sites.
  • Coordinate daily tasks, manpower needs, and workflow to meet project deadlines.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and submittals to ensure accurate installation.
  • Work closely with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades to maintain smooth project execution.
  • Oversee installation of plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary, storm, gas piping, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets code requirements and company standards.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Ensure proper material handling, storage, and installation practices.
  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations on all job sites.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure crews follow safe work practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, timecards, and material logs.
  • Forecast labor, materials, and equipment needs.
  • Identify potential issues early and collaborate with project leadership to resolve them.
  • Assist with scheduling inspections and ensuring timely approvals.
