About The Position
Williams is the Northwest’s largest plumbing contractor, building Montana's future through projects ranging from hospitals and restaurants to high-end custom homes. Our team is led by experienced plumbers and supported by the largest apprentice program in the state, enabling us to tackle ambitious projects. Plumbing is central to our company, and we are dedicated to training and retaining top talent. The Plumbing Foreman supervises the installation, maintenance, and repair of all plumbing systems, requiring strong knowledge of plumbing piping systems, underground sprinkler systems, fire protection systems, and other related special systems. The role demands an understanding of state and city plumbing codes and the ability to interpret architectural and mechanical drawings. The Foreman provides craft supervision by making job assignments, adjusting schedules for manpower, and inspecting the work of plumbers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical work
- Field supervision experience is strongly preferred
- Current valid Montana Journeyman Plumber's license
Responsibilities
- Inspect the work site to determine methods of operation: supply tools and request the appropriate level of manpower needed to successfully complete the work
- Assign plumbers to specific tasks and supervises these activities, assisting in layout, fabrication and assembly problems as required
- Provide for the transportation of tools, equipment, and materials to the job site
- Order materials, including tools necessary to complete the work
- Supervise plumbers when necessary
- Coordinate the activities of the plumbers to coincide with those of other crafts, as required in the progress of the job
