About The Position

Williams is the Northwest’s largest plumbing contractor, building Montana's future through projects ranging from hospitals to restaurants to high-end custom homes. Plumbing is central to their business, and they are dedicated to training and retaining top talent. The Plumbing Foreman supervises the installation, maintenance, and repair of all plumbing systems. This role requires strong knowledge of plumbing piping systems, underground sprinkler systems, fire protection systems, and other related special systems. The Foreman must understand and adhere to appropriate state and city plumbing codes, and be able to interpret architectural and mechanical drawings. Key responsibilities include supervising craft plumbers, making job assignments, adjusting schedules for manpower, and inspecting the work performed by plumbers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical work
  • Current valid Montana Journeyman Plumber's license

Nice To Haves

  • Field supervision experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Inspect the work site to determine methods of operation: supply tools and request the appropriate level of manpower needed to successfully complete the work
  • Assign plumbers to specific tasks and supervises these activities, assisting in layout, fabrication and assembly problems as required
  • Provide for the transportation of tools, equipment, and materials to the job site
  • Order materials, including tools necessary to complete the work
  • Supervise plumbers when necessary
  • Coordinate the activities of the plumbers to coincide with those of other crafts, as required in the progress of the job
