About The Position

Staxmatic is hiring an experienced Commercial Plumbing Foreman to lead plumbing construction activities on a dedicated commercial project in Texas. This role is responsible for the day-to-day field execution of one assigned job site, overseeing commercial plumbing installation, crew supervision, safety, and schedule performance from start to finish. Projects include K-12 schools, medical facilities, higher education buildings, data centers, and large commercial construction sites. The Plumbing Foreman will work closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and other trades to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. This is a 100% on-site commercial construction role for a hands-on foreman who prefers to run one project at a time, build a strong crew, and see the job through all phases — underground, rough-in, and finish-out.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of relevant commercial plumbing field experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead crews, meet deadlines, and maintain high safety and quality standards
  • Valid Journeyman Plumber License
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience working on commercial construction projects (K–12, healthcare, higher education, data centers, or large commercial facilities)
  • Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and basic computer applications (iPad/iPhone usage)
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Apply commercial plumbing knowledge to review drawings, develop material takeoffs, and create clear field layouts and sketches to support installation activities
  • Drive daily production by planning plumbing activities, loading manpower, and aligning crews, tools, and equipment with the construction schedule
  • Coordinate work with other trades, project management, and general contractors
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, plumbing blueprints, isometrics, and specifications
  • Maintain control of materials, deliveries, staging areas, and tool inventory to prevent delays and rework
  • Provide installation direction through verbal instruction, sketches, and field walkthroughs
  • Enforce company and OSHA job site safety standards; respond to incidents as needed
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure work meets contract documents and code requirements
  • Work alongside the Superintendent to plan upcoming work and contribute plumbing input to the 3–6 week lookahead
  • Assist with tracking and updating RFIs, submittals, and as-built documentation based on field progress
  • Steps in with tools when needed to address critical path work, support plumbing crews, or maintain schedule commitments
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
