J.R. Snider is seeking a Plumbing Field Supervisor to lead and develop a team of technicians, ensuring exceptional work quality and customer service. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on field presence rather than desk work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with high expectations, honest communication, and taking ownership of team performance. J.R. Requirements

  • 10+ years of plumbing experience
  • Strong coaching, communication, and decision-making skills
  • The ability to hold people accountable while earning their respect
  • Comfort using scheduling, reporting, and field technology
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • A mindset of ownership: if it’s your team, it’s your responsibility
  • Care deeply about their people
  • Take pride in high standards
  • Are comfortable with tough conversations
  • Want to leave the trade better than they found it

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years in a leadership, lead technician, or supervisory role
  • Journeyman or Master Plumbing License

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach technicians through ride-alongs, training, and field mentorship.
  • Set and enforce standards for quality, safety, code compliance, and professionalism.
  • Own performance metrics, including job outcomes, callbacks, and customer feedback.
  • Coordinate with dispatch and leadership to keep jobs running efficiently.
  • Handle customer escalations with confidence and accountability.
  • Develop apprentices and future leaders within the organization.
  • Identify problems and bring solutions that improve operations.
