As a plumbing designer at Peter Basso Associates, you’ll join project teams working with top architects, contractors, and facility owners across diverse markets - education, healthcare, research, institutional, multi-family, and mixed-use. You'll apply creative solutions to complex challenges and contribute to projects from concept through construction.

Requirements

Experience in plumbing system design, including domestic hot and cold water; sanitary waste and vent; storm water; various specialty systems.
10- 20 years of experience in plumbing system design
Associates of Applied Science (or similar relevant education) in addition to industry experience
Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
Strong communication and leadership skills
Self-driven, adaptable, and team-oriented

Responsibilities

Apply creative solutions to complex challenges and contribute to projects from concept through construction.
Collaborate across disciplines to drive project success
Develop practical solutions using strong problem-solving skills
Use BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit) to ensure quality and efficiency
Manage multiple projects, milestones, and deadlines
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients
Mentor and delegate to support team growth
Balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail
