About The Position
PAE is seeking a motivated and inquisitive Plumbing Design Engineering Intern to join our team in any one of our major office locations, including: San Francisco, CA, Seattle, WA, New York, NY, Boston, MA, Denver, CO, Portland, OR and Los Angeles, CA. Requirements
- 3rd year undergraduate student preferred
- Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering major
- Desire to work in the Building Design industry
- Passionate about sustainable design solutions
- Effective Communicator
Responsibilities
- Design layout of plumbing systems
- Onsite non-potable reuse and nutrient recovery systems
- Water data (WUI) analysis
- Electrification of domestic hot water systems
- CAD and Revit
- Energy modeling
- Design calculations
- Construction administration and site visits
- General project timeline/overview
- Specifications
- Site Visits/Site Observation Reports
- Cost estimate review/preparation
- M/E coordination schedule
